Start :

Seated press.Adjust the rack to support the bar at shoulder level.

 

How to :

Hold the bar with a wide grip, too narrow a grip shifts the focus to the triceps.

Slowly press the bar straight over your head. The delt's line of force defines the ideal plane of motion illustrated on videos.

 

Precautions :

Keep your arms within the plane as you lift. Keep your knuckles facing forward, stoop and grass the bar.

Extend your arms fully. Make sure your knees are bent to approximately 90 degres, with your seat a little higher than yiur knees joints.
